- Additional compensation may include: Productivity bonuses and annual performance bonuses

Allied Physical Therapy Wellness Community is a private outpatient physical therapy practice specializing in spine rehabilitation, TMJ dysfunction, pelvic floor therapy, orthopedic injuries, and manual therapy. Position Summary
The Physical Therapist Assistant will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality treatment to patients with orthopedic, spine, TMJ, pelvic floor, and/or musculoskeletal conditions in an outpatient setting. We are open to hiring new graduates and providing additional training and support.
Primary Responsibilities
- Implement treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercise, stretching, balance training, neuromuscular re-education, and functional activities
- Support treatment of spine, orthopedic, TMJ, and/or pelvic floor patients
- Provide patient education regarding exercises, posture, body mechanics, and home exercise programs
- Document treatments and patient responses accurately and timely
- Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Maintain clinic cleanliness, equipment readiness, and treatment flow
- Support positive patient experiences and strong customer service that reflects Allied Physical Therapy Wellness Community’s patient-centered values
- Assist with front office communication and scheduling as needed
Preferred Clinical Experience
- Outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation
- Spine rehabilitation
- Manual therapy support
- Exercise progression
- Post-surgical rehabilitation
- Chronic pain management
- Pelvic floor or women’s health exposure
- TMJ dysfunction exposure
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current Florida PTA license
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy outpatient environment
- Experience in outpatient orthopedics preferred, but not required
- Manual therapy, pelvic floor, TMJ, and/or specialty rehabilitation experience preferred, but not required
